wola parineeta

well we had a power cutoff for the whole day yesterday so the 4 of us decided to go for a movie and stay away from this home which was like an oven without the electricity
anyways the movie we went to watch was parineeta. well i had heard it was a classic but after i saw it i realised it is a classic . i didnt like the acting of any particular actor neither did i feel that the direction had anything special . but the only thing done well was that it closely followed the novel on which it was based . i found the story to be just amazing . but i admit that i got really bored n the first half but then i learned the trick . i thought that what i was watching on the screen was just how i would visualise while i read the book . really it dosent seems to be gr8 as a movie but if u think that u r reading a novel then the way th story moves along you are bound to feel that what an amazing book it would have been . my mom had seen the earlier version of this movie and she said that the earlier movie was a lot better . i too cud understand what she meant . the movie could not potray the emotions of the story . what i also liked about the movie was the music . it was slow and soothing yet rhythmic. it forgot everything while watching the movie and now after watching the movie i dont remember what i saw there . but i must say the look of the movie was just too good . really made it look like a classic . really a very pleasing experience . i wud say go and have a look at it either at a theater ar only after the dvd releases becoz you wont be able to enjoy the amazing cinematography of the movie else. the movie stars vidya balan on whome i was fidaa when she first appeared in the euphoria music video . she just looks so beautiful in the movie too . actually she wud look beautiful anywhere anytime , especially in indian ethnic dresses .
