marriage
What matter if the words be said,
The license paid - they are not wed;
Unless love link each heart to heart,
'Twere better keep those lives apart...

just look --- r u blind
Some flowers are bruised that they may be more sweet,
And some lie broken 'neath the rush of feet;
And some are worn a while, then tossed aside;
Some grace the dead, while others deck the bride.
And so in life I've seen the saddest face,
The broken flower, give forth the sweetest grace...

listening
in the sounds of nature we can feel the passion of our mother earth.
but not all people are lucky enough. There are many a deaf people in this world . I always spare a thought for them .
but we people who can hear too don't use our ability in the right manner. i mean to say that we don't pay heed to what is the power of this ability.
many a times we encounter people who speak a lot but we do not pay heed to them. we just feel that don't they ever get tired . like someone u meet on a morning walk or during transport , i mean someone whom u don't know very well but still tend to meet them almost everyday. u might feel that what sins did u commit that u landed up meeting such irritating people like these . But do u wonder how your listening might mean to them. like it could be that no one else pays attention to them and they have so many thoughts in their mind that they want to let out.Or maybe that there is something in your personality that they always searched for in their friends but never found it ,so they are fond of u and just by listening to them u might be giving them immense pleasure , & u cant be unfortunate if u can give someone pleasure.
Also such people are very caring about you. u might just find a friend whom u can always trust on in bad situations.
actually sometimes only listening is not good enough, one also needs to understand what he is listening to . like i often talk to a friend of mine , who considers himself to be a good listener and admits the importance of being a good listener, but what happens is that he is never able to understand why i am saying what i am saying to him and what kind of a response i expect to get from him.
so all u people please realize the power of listening and please understand how you can best utilize this power of yours.

failure is the road to success
Failure Doesn't Mean--------You R A Failure,
It Means--------You Have Not Succeeded.
Failure Doesn't Mean--------You Accomplished Nothing,
It Means--------You Have Learned Something.

It Means--------You Had A Lot Of Faith.
Failure Doesn't Mean--------You've Been Disgraced,
It Means--------You Were Willing To Try.
Failure Doesn't Mean--------You Don't Have It,
It Means---------You Have To Do Something In A Different Way.
Failure Doesn't Mean--------You Are Inferior,
It Means-------You Are Not Perfect.
Failure Doesn't Mean--------You've Wasted Your Life,
It Means--------You Have A Reason To Start Afresh.
Failure Doesn't Mean--------You Should Give Up,
It Means--------You Must Try Harder.
Failure Doesn't Mean--------You'll Never Make It,
It Means--------It Will Take A Little Longer.
Failure Doesn't Mean--------God Has Abandoned You,
It Means--------God Has A Better Way For You.

come on start living
Talk to people you have never talked to before,
and actually listen.
Let yourself fall in love,
break free, and set your sights high.
Hold your head up
because you have every right to.
Tell yourself
you are a great individual
and believe in yourself,
for if you don't believe in yourself,
no one else will believe in you.
You can make of your life anything you wish.
Create your own life and then go out and live it
with absolutely no regrets.
Most importantly,
if you love someone tell them,
for you never know what tomorrow may have in store.
And learn a lesson in life each day you live.

if someone
betrays you or breaks your heart,
forgive them
because they have helped you learn
about trust and the importance of being cautious
to whom you open your heart to.
If someone loves you,
love them back unconditionally,
not only because they love you,
but because they are teaching you to love,
and open your heart and eyes to little things.
Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it, everything that you possibly can,
for you may never be able to experience it again. You may not have the chance to share, talk, listen, dream, love, teach, or enjoy that moment again.

EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there ...
to serve some sort of purpose
to teach a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become.
You never know who these people may be: a roommate, friend, neighbor, professor, child, teacher or even a complete stranger, but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.
Sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible, painful and unfair at first, but in reflection, you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would not have realized your strength, potential, will power or heart.
Nothing happens by chance or means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, flat road to nowhere ... safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.
People who you meet and who affect your life, and the successes and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become. The bad experiences are the most valuable because it is often from them that we learn the most. They are probably the most poignant and important ones. Hurt, betrayal, loss, sadness ... these are the great builders of character. Only those who have hurt and lost or have been sad and disappointment know how to truly comfort and forgive another in the same circumstances. Consider yourself blessed!

apology -- superglue of life
In some families, please is described as the magic word.
In our house, however, it was sorry. ~Margaret Laurence
An apology is a good way to have the last word. ~Author Unknown
A stiff apology is a second insult.... The injured party does not want to be
compensated because he has been wronged; he wants to be healed because he
has been hurt. ~G.K. Chesterton
An apology is the superglue of life. It can repair just about anything.
~Lynn Johnston
Apologizing - a very desperate habit - one that is rarely cured. Apology is
only egotism wrong side out. ~Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., The Professor at
the Breakfast-Table
It is a good rule in life never to apologize. The right sort of people do
not want apologies, and the wrong sort take a mean advantage of them. ~P.G.
Wodehouse, The Man Upstairs
Never ruin an apology with an excuse. ~Kimberly Johnson
True remorse is never just a regret over consequence; it is a regret over
motive. ~Mignon McLaughlin, The Neurotic's Notebook, 1960
Apology is a lovely perfume; it can transform the clumsiest moment into a
gracious gift. ~Margaret Lee Runbeck

i have learnt
As I walk through life...
I have learnt...
· No one ever got fat eating one big meal.
· We all live under the same sky... but we do not all have the same horizon.
· If you think you can... or if you think you can't... you're right!
· No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
· You don't drown by falling in water. You drown by staying there.
· If you don't know where are you going, you're never gonna get there.
· Persistence is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did.
· You can make money, or you can make excuses. You just can't make them both at the same time.
· Men do not decide their future. They decide their habits... and their habits decide their future.
· The ruling passion, be what it will. The ruling passion, conquers reason still.
· A ship in harbour is safe. But that's not what ships are built for.
· No one ever died from overwork, but many died from doubt.
· A man is not old until regrets take place of dreams.
· Life is like a 10-speed bike. Most of us have gears we never use.

hold up
Holdup
This is a holdup!!
There is no escape...
All routes are sealed with hope & happiness..
Put your hands up,
And open out your hearts.
That is all i ask of you...
Put your pretences & lies away,
Put your egos aside..
Throw all negativity away,
For i have come to take all you don't need-
But are burdened with..
Let brotherhood take you away-
From hatred & envy.
Let love hold you at ransom ,
Surrender yourself in totality,
And become a prisoner ,
In my heart forever....
For i am your inner soul,
That wants you to become..
A human-gods own lovely creation-
That you were meant to be..

Something To Think About
If you love someone,
put their name in a circle,
instead of a heart,
because hearts can break,
but circles go on forever.
Everyone hears what you say.
Friends listen to what you say.
Best friends listen to what you don't say.
If all my friends were to jump off a bridge,
I wouldn't jump with them,
I'd be at the bottom to catch them.
Don't frown,
because you never know who's falling in love with your smile!
If you judge people,
you have no time to love them.
Be kind,
for everyone you meet is fighting
a harder battle.
It may take only a minute to like someone,
only an hour to have a crush on someone
and only a day to love someone
but it will take a lifetime to forget someone.
Enthusiasm is contagious.
You might cause an outbreak and affect many.
Yesterday is the history,
tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift,
that is why it is called the present.
and love like it's never gonna hurt.

dont grow old just grow up
Many people are afraid of growing old.
I'm afraid of growing old and boring.
Many people are afraid of growing old, alone.
I'm afraid of growing old, insane.
Many people are afraid of losing their looks.
I'm afraid of losing my dreams.
Many people are afraid of losing their youth.
I'm afraid of losing my soul.
When you're 15, 35 seems ancient.
When you're 35, 15 seems juvenile.
A turnaround in a split second - two decades zoom past and
before you know it, it's only a mile to the next millennium.
Don't fear age,
it's a right of person-hood.
Don't fear death- it's God's greatest jest.
Don't grow old - you don't have to.
Don't date because you're desperate.
Don't marry because you're miserable.
Don't have kids because you think your genes are superior.
Don't separate because you think it's fashionable.
Don't drink because you have troubles.
Don't gamble because you think winning is inevitable.
Don't philander because you think you're irresistible.
Most likely, you're not.
Don't associate with people you can't trust.
Don't cheat.
Don't lie.
Don't pretend.
Don't try to buy your way into the kingdom of God.
Don't dictate because you're smarter.
Don't demand because you're stronger.
Don't sleep around because you think you're old enough and know better.
Don't hurt your kids because loving them is harder.
Don't sell yourself, your family or your ideals.
Don't stagnate.
Don't regress.
Learn a new skill.
Find a new friend.
Start a new career.
Don't live in the past.
Time can't bring anything or anyone back.
Don't put your life on hold for possibly Mr./Ms. Right.
Don't throw you life away on absolutely Mr. Wrong because your biological clock is ticking and you can't afford to have your eggs harvested before the new millennium.
There's always a mad rush to something, somewhere - but victory does not always belong to those who finish first.
Sometimes, there is no race to be won, only a price to be paid for some of life's more hasty decisions.
You can't always go with the throng who could be wrong.
To terminate your loneliness, reach out to the homeless.
To feed your nurturing instincts, care for the needy.
To fulfill your parenting fantasies, get a puppy.
Don't bring another life into this world for all the wrong reasons.
To keep yourself warm, buy a jacket.
In the long run, it will be less complicated and less costly.
To make yourself happy, pursue your passions and be the best of what you can be.
Simplify your life.
Take away the clutter.
Get rid of destructive elements - abusive friends, nasty habits and dangerous liaisons.
Don't abandon your responsibilities, but don't overdose on duty.
Don't live life recklessly without thought and feeling for your family.
Be true to yourself. Don't commit when you're not ready.
Don't keep others waiting needlessly.
Fall in love - it's the greatest thing on earth.
But take care and remember, after the fall must come the rise.
Go on that trip. Don't postpone it.
Say those words. Don't let the moment pass.
Do what you must even at society's scorn.
Write poetry. Love deeply. Walk barefoot. Hold hands.
Dance with wild abandon. Cry at the movies.
Take care of yourself.
Don't wait for someone to take care of you.
You light up your life.
You drive yourself to your destination.
No one completes you - except you.
It is true that life doesn't get easier with age.
It only gets more challenging.
Don't be afraid.
Don't lose your capacity to love.
Pursue your passions.
Live your dreams.
Don't lose faith in God.
Sometimes, you have to be alone to be enlightened.
He still speaks in a small still voice.
Don't grow old.
Just grow up.
