phew

i just cant believe this .. i was away from my blog for almost a week now.. well something or the other just happened to keep me away from this world of typers(of it is wrtinig in creative sense but in the end it is afterall typing ; literally no one is writing) ... well first it was the viral fever season... i was down with it for a couple of days then it transferrde to my computer.. my god it was a terrible experience (the PC one) ... well scanned it quite a few times to remove about 150+ virus ... with that many viruses i wonder if there were any system files on my system... anywasy even after doing so my internet did nt start(a LAN of 100mbps server but unfortunately used by 6000 people in our surroundings)... so what to do ?????? nothing format and reinstall the whole OS (windows XP)... so did the formatting and then after copying the files (for a gruelsome 2 hrs) it shows up that setup can not continue coz the files copied were corrupt @#^#%^&
took the installation cd out to find that it was full of scratches . "@^#%@^ %#^$@ &%^& %^%^" and many more things that i said about my neighbour whome i had lended the cd a couple of monthes back... so now the hunt for the cd begins ... after asking a lottsa people i finally had to go to the guy on whome i was very mad and had decided not to talk to him(one of my college mates) , [though he didnt know that i was mad at him] . so i had to make up my mind and thought that i can not be angry with him . well all hard feelings done after thinking and thinking finally i called him up at 11 pm on wednesday that plz bring me the xp cd tommrow in college [ so a gud thing to happen on the eve of friendship week- cutting out all the hard feelings for him] . so i came back happy at home with the cd in my bag . after freshening up the first thing i did was to open the PC and tried to run the cd just to find that the cd was not bootable " ^#$%^#^ " . why do i always have to face such morons ... so i sat sad and gloomy when my neighbour just calls out for me and says that he managed to get the cd from somewhere...ah he is not good for nothing afterall[well he is but at that point of time he had his moment of glory in front of me"....anyways so all done and finally the OS getys installed and i feel relieved that now i can return to the blogworld and the the shcker i cant still open the internet!!!!!!!!!
y am i so unlucky???????????call the network admin at 10.30 pm just to hear the phone ringing in a barren room{no one picks up} (10.30 - I know i was a bit too desperate)....so the next day that is today i come from the college and even before changing just opened the pc and sat down with it...experimented a lot trying various comination of optins for firewall , antispyware , anti virus [ still abusing all those virus writer around the world or atleast the writer of that virus which hit my pc] then i irritated my network admin over the phone for more than an hour , finally when i felt that he was terribly irritated then i decided to have a little mercy on him....so now that my connection has stated working some how i come to blogger.com and write this out .. finally i am back ... now i wud be able celebrate the long wished friendship week on my blog....yipeeee

e-friends

well quite early in my life i had taken a decision of not making many relationships.
thats becoz i knew not many would fit into the the way i feel about maintaining a relation.
as i had written in one of my post called relationships
what i always have felt is that i should make a bond with people only when i am sure that the relationship stays .
like i made friends who didnt keep in touch after we passed out of school...
so i started being very picky in whome i interact with..
u know i always give importance to the bonds taht i create with other people.
then suddenly i found that i am not able to express myself as freely as i should.
there seemed to have been a blockage in my head.
then i thought that a blog would be a good idea to let out my thoughts...
my brain needed some maintanance.
but still i preffered to be choosy about meeting people..
i went to many a blog but nvr commented ...
but in the process i found so many wonderful looking people that i just thought that what am i doing........
there are so many people who interact online and why am i restricting myself

what the hell should i care about
so now i ve finally started blogrolling people
most of them are the ones whome i denied of any comments on their blogs
and suddenly i see my long list in the bookmark folder getting transferred to my blog
well welcome to all the people who have come to this blog..
well i am gonna invite everyone on a special friendship week in the first week of august on my blog..
a new season of friendships....................

enjoy

enjoy life
i dunno what one means when one says that
well i am not sad about the way i am living my life
i dont have a feeling that i want anything
over the years i have evolved my thought process in such a way that i dont feel sad about anything
but yet what still remains a mystery for me is to how do i enjoy life....
i dunno what it means to enjoy life
i have nothing to complain about yet i have nothing to feel excited about
i dunno what i am asking out of myself and so i cant even find an answer to it
i just dont seem to be using my mind [or should i say that i cant use it]
there is some kinda block in there
i think a lot and i read and listen a lot but i dont seem to be understanding anything
i know i want to realise what is going on around me but i seldom find myself in alien territory
i know not what to do
but i know that i soon need to sort this out or else i am doomed for life..

the live 8 concert

its just amazing to see so may stars come out and perform for a reason
a reason that seemed to have been forgotten in this commercial world
poverty -ya it is wide spread but wat abt the nations which have no economy
some of the stories that were shown really showed how ignorant have we been living in this world
well for ppl who dont know it is a lot more than just a concert for awarness
it is an invitation to the ppl from all around the world to come and join the long walk to justice
yes it is a long very long walk but everyone has to begin a journey and when we are so many people coming to geather with a single goal then i dont suppose that there is any thing to be circumspect about
if we want to we may achieve our goal
if we can achieve so much power then we should also know how to use
this long walk of justice is an example of it....
some excerpts from www.live8live.com

LIVE 8 is part of a day of action across the world which kick-starts The Long Walk to Justice that calls on the leaders of the world’s richest countries to act when they meet in Gleneagles on 6th-9th July. On July 2nd in London, Edinburgh, Philadelphia, Berlin, Paris and Rome millions will be coming together to call for complete debt cancellation, more and better aid and trade justice for the world’s poorest people.

LIVE 8 is calling for people across the world to unite in one call – in 2005 it is your voice we are after, not your money.

The G8 brings together the leaders of the worlds most powerful countries – the USA, Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Russia. This year they meet from 6th – 9th July in Gleneagles with Britain’s Prime Minister, Tony Blair hosting the summit.

Tony Blair has put the challenges faced in Africa on the top of the agenda – but the leaders need to know when they sit down that the world is watching them and waiting for them to deliver.

Live aid

13th July 1985 saw the world sit up and take notice when rock stars from around the world held unique dual concerts in London and Philadelphia, which saw millions of people watching as Live Aid, called on people to take action to help the sufferers of the famine hitting Africa.

Live Aid raised over $100 million. But 20 years on poverty, famine and disease is still a major problem in Africa. The public have shown how important this is to them now it is time to get governments to act.

LIVE 8 is about justice not charity.

2005 offers a unique opportunity for everyone to come together and ask the G8 to make poverty history. LIVE 8 is one event of many around the world supporting the aims of the Global Call to Action Against Poverty. The global symbol of the campaign is a white band.

DATA aims to raise awareness about, and spark response to the crises swamping Africa: unpayable debts, uncontrolled spread of AIDS, and unfair trade rules which keep Africans poor.

www.data.org

DATA is part of a rising tide of action by people like you to beat back these crises.

The organization was founded in 2002 by Bono, the lead singer of U2, along with Bobby Shriver and activists from the Jubilee 2000 Drop the Debt campaign. At the core of DATA's mission is a view that these issues are not about charity, but about equality and justice.

africa commision

The British Prime Minister Tony Blair launched the Commission for Africa in February 2004. The aim of the Commission was to take a fresh look at Africa’s past and present and the international community’s role in its development path.

trade justice

It's simple really, change the rules. Now.

It's an obvious solution - challenge and change the rules so they work for poor countries. Re-write them so poor countries can develop, build their own industries, grow stronger, and one day compete as equals. Rich countries used trade rules to protect themselves as they developed - which is how they got where they are now. Now we need to use trade rules to end world poverty as we know it.

drop debt

Two weeks ago 280 million Africans woke up for the first time in their lives without owing you or me a penny from the burden of debt that has crippled them and their countries for so long. The deal struck by G7 Finance Ministers was a victory for the millions of people in the campaigns around the world. But the deal affects, immediately, only 18 countries. There are twice that number in need of help, including Nigeria. And though debt cancellation should be directed in ways that reduce poverty and improve governance it must not come with arduous economic strings attached.

aid

But it's vital that this Aid focuses better on poor people's needs. This means more aid being spent on areas such as basic health care and education. Aid should support poor countries' and communities' own plans and paths out of poverty.

and for all those non-belivers out there = see it for urself

Smallpox was wiped out by just over US$100m worth of targeted aid. Polio is also close to being eliminated.

Mozambique's economy grew at an astonishing 12 per cent in the 1990s when aid constituted 50 per cent of its income.

In Tanzania, debt relief enabled the government to abolish primary school fees, leading to a whopping 66 per cent increase in attendance. As a result, 1.6million more children now attend school.

Debt relief helped kick-start Mozambique's impressive recovery from civil war and terrible floods and enabled its government to vaccinate 500,000 additional children.

NOW IS THE TIME, THIS IS THE YEAR - OUR LEADERS HAVE THE POWER TO END POVERTY - BUT WE HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE THEM USE IT

a hundred dead and 2 lakh homeless

the condition in gujrat is very serious. the destruction has taken at a massive form . the life has been hit hard . the villages and cities are all submerged in waters . the thought just haunts me that is nature trying to show man what strenght it has. has the ever tolerating nature been hurt by what man has done for all these years.....
well what ever it is gujrat has been hait really hard . interestingly the flood has hit all the areas that escaped the torment of the earthquake . atleast the news has come that the rescue operations is over . and now the people in the relief camps are being taken care off ...
it just gives me shivers to think what the people must be going through...

in the mean while i watched sarkar yesterday and it is a movie really worth watching.
rgv says it is a tribute to godfather but really the way it has been presented one really feels this is a bollywood film and not just an adaptation.
avishek bacchan showing ki woh bhi apne baap ka hi betaa hai.

as for the next post akhil's virus will be posted.

i am really moody

oh yeah now i look at the last post and laugh .. what crap had i written.
realy sometimes its amusing to be as moody as i am.
it allows me to enjoys a whole lot of my emotions.
well ofcourse the now i feel good about the fact that i am effected by the changes in nature. atleast i feel i am related to nature , otherwise people are just too much into the artificial world to feel them connected to the nature....
well had a decent day yesterday just freaking out....
went to college and attended just the on class of statistics.
the rest of the time was spent in the common(recreation) room playing TT or carrom. then i decided to venture a bit into the blog world , reading what others were thinking around the world...
after that reached home relaxed listened to a bit of music...
then studied for 5 long hours and for a change it was refreshing rather than being tiring.
then watched some really good tennis , the wimbledon semifinals between venus and sharapova and well it seems venus has come back hard to be reckoned as a contender for the grand slam. really impressed by the way in which she played , showing lot of maturity and tolerance. guess that is what a few failures can do for you. may be sister serena could take a leaf out of venus's book. well for the second semis between mauresmo and davenport was a much more tighter match which displayed the level of tennis that the top notch of the women pros play now a days . i think amelie played amazingly well but was a touch temeramental to be in the position in which she is now. well also davenport showed why she is the first seed by the strong comeback she made in the match. and well just the nature too intervined to maintain the curiosity a little longer. so lets see that sums upo the yesterday for me.
so wat for today .
well for the first time i am going for a movie first day first show and undoubtedly that movie deserves my attention...
ofcourse "sarkar"
a movie directed by rgv, nvr missed his flicks.
stars my fav. actor mr AB snr
and that too in a larger than life role
so yes folks i am off to watch the movie.
be sure the next post will be the review of the movie....
